Annual heroism conference returns to Flint, Diplomat serves as title sponsor
FLINT, Mich.— Sept. 16, 2014 — Diplomat, the nation’s largest independent specialty pharmacy, is proud to announce the return of The Hero Round Table conference to Flint, Michigan. The international conference will be take place September 19-20, 2014, at Flint’s Whiting Auditorium. 2014 marks the second year that the conference will be held in Flint, with Diplomat serving as title sponsor.
The Hero Round Table conference will focus on the discussion and study of heroism in today’s world. Speakers will be experts in the disciplines of psychology, education, philosophy, sports, storytelling and journalism, among others. Students, educators and community members from all industries are invited to attend the conference.

Pre-conference activities will kick off on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 with the 5k Hero Fun Run, led by Chris McDougall, author of Born to Run. Conference speakers and breakout sessions will take place on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 19-20, 2014.
