Diplomat Among Best and Brightest in Wellness® for 5th Straight Year
FLINT, Mich. — Oct. 4, 2017 — The nation’s largest independent provider of specialty pharmacy services has been recognized for its employee health and wellness programs.
Diplomat Pharmacy, Inc. (NYSE: DPLO), has been recognized by Michigan’s Best and Brightest in Wellness® for the fifth consecutive year.
The program celebrates organizations for efforts to promote employee health and wellness. Companies are evaluated by SynBella, a Detroit-based provider of corporate wellness programs.
Diplomat builds its workplace wellness initiatives around five pillars, said Leslie Suciu, vice president of human resources. These are nutrition; physical well-being; emotional and stress support; personal finances; and community outreach.
“We focus on these pillars to provide a wide range of support for employees looking to live a healthier lifestyle in the workplace and at home,” Suciu said.
Among other efforts, Diplomat invites speakers to its headquarters in Flint, Michigan, to discuss wellness issues such as stress management, nutrition counseling, and financial planning.
The company also offers employees free fitness classes like Zumba, yoga, pure barre, and total cardio-strength fitness. Additional offerings include weight-loss challenges, fitness training, and massage therapy.
Diplomat and other winners will be honored at a gala on Oct. 20 at The Henry, a hotel in Dearborn, Michigan.
