EnvoyHealth to Offer Mango Health Mobile App
FLINT, Mich. — March 4, 2019 — Diplomat Pharmacy, Inc. (NYSE: DPLO), subsidiary EnvoyHealth has partnered with Mango Health to offer pharmaceutical manufacturer clients access to a custom mobile app for patient engagement and medication management.
EnvoyHealth customizes technologies and services to help promote the success of innovative therapies and bridge the gap between manufacturers and their patients. Mango Health develops digital health products — including mobile applications — to help people develop good habits around daily health management.
Mango Health’s mobile platform can be customized based on the patient journey for each product and condition, complementing EnvoyHealth’s traditional hub service offerings.
Derek Cothran, senior vice president of client strategy and development, said EnvoyHealth is always looking for new ways to help manufacturers improve their patients’ experience with specialty medications.
“Traditional reimbursement and access services continue to play a critical role in helping patients obtain and adhere to therapy,” Cothran said. “Those services must be easy to use, and they need to reach patients and their caregivers through modern technology like Mango Health’s mobile platform.”
Brian Griffin, chairman and CEO of Diplomat, said Mango Health’s solutions are a perfect fit within Diplomat’s broader strategy to meet patients where they work, live, and play.
“Diplomat is incorporating digital health into the patient experience,” Griffin said. “The EnvoyHealth and Mango Health partnership is another example of our commitment to patient care across the organization. We believe EnvoyHealth’s digital health strategy provides manufacturers more ways to support patients.”
“Patients taking specialty medications face unique challenges in accessing therapy and managing their health,” said Yadin Shemmer, CEO of Mango Health. “We believe that addressing these challenges is a critical priority for patients, clinicians, payers, and manufacturers alike.”
“The Mango platform enables care teams to provide continuous, 24/7 support and capture real-time data on patient risk and outcomes. By combining EnvoyHealth hub services with the Mango mobile platform, we believe we can improve access to therapy, increase adherence, and deliver better health outcomes. We are thrilled to be partnering with EnvoyHealth to transform patient support.”
