The second story from the original “Nate” series of books, The Great Inhibinator was written to help parents and children living with hemophilia and an inhibitor to discuss and deal with their feelings. Six-year-old Nate, the main character in the story, finds a way to feel powerful despite his inhibitor diagnosis. He turns frustration and feelings of helplessness into a fun trick-or-treating event for his whole family.

At the end of the book, there is a “Note for Parents” on how to use the book to discuss feelings and open communication between parents and children.

Note: The Great Inhibinator is limited to members of the bleeding disorders community only.
